Brainbook

Social networks are useful instruments, which exploits technologies of Web 2.0 to easily communicate. Brainbook is the social network of ConeroLab. You can access it from this page, then you need to register in order to participate.

Below, there are simple rules to guarantee a correct efficiency of the social network.

After the registration's approval you become a brainbook member. You can upgrade your personal data and add your own photo in your profile section.

Next, you can:

-        write on blog. Any topic about neuroscience can be posted. Publication does not need any approval, therefore contents have to be clear and respect other brainbook members's opinions, and they have to be well-written in accord to the rules of netiquette  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netiquette).

-        create subtopic-based groups. You are free to create a new group or agree to an existent one. Next, you can start a related forum of discussions with other members. Also in this case, contents have to respect other brainbook members's opinions in accord to the rules of netiquette  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netiquette).

-        point out an event. Incoming national or international congresses, conferences, meetings can be indicated using this section. In addition, you can point out  job-opportunities, substituting the title of the event with “Job opportunity: your text”, and insert essential information in the description frame. Events or job opportunities are subjected to administrator's approval.

-        upload photos or videos. Photos or video concerning neuroscience or partecipation at neuroscientific events are allowed. Off-topic material will be not approved for publication.

-        chat with on-line members. To start chatting, you need to click on member(s) on-line or on the arrow located on the right to open a pop-up chat window. You can find more accurately rules about chat functioning in the brainbook chat section.
